It’s Tuesday! You made it through the first day and now you should be ready to take the rest of the week head on. If you are still having trouble getting over the day’s hump, we’ve got some great things for you to do that will only set you back $10 or less. It’s a prefect way to enjoy your day for less, especially if you happen to be in the great city of Dallas, Texas. Check it out below!

Take A Ride Uptown on the M-Line Trolley

The trolley is completely free to ride, although donations are accepted, and will take you up and down Mckinney Ave. Jump on and off the trolley to check out the many bars and stores that line the street. Grab a beer at a local put to just take in the day. If you happen to have your “well-behaved” pup with you, he can hop on the trolley with you as well.

Walk around the Dallas Farmers Market

The Dallas Farmers Market is opened 362 days out of the year, and it’s completely free to look around. If you are in the area you can obviously walk, but if not, get there in a flash on the DART Red Line. If you plan on buying anything here, bargain with the retailers to get the best deals. For the best selection of products, go early in the day. For the best deals, go late in the day.

Financial Tip Of The Day

Read Your Monthly Credit Card Statements

If you are using a credit card you should read your statements when they arrive every month. It’s a good habit to keep all charge receipts. Put them into a folder when you get home from shopping. When your statement arrives, check the statement against the receipts. This way you can make sure that all of the charges are yours. You also can account for the charges by categories in your budget rather than by having one large expense called “credit card.”
