Joe Budden has been talking about it for a long time, and if you’ve been to one his entertaining and energetic shows then you’ve heard it or heard about it. Well, it’s finally here: his new song featuring Tank and Lil Wayne, “She Don’t Put it Down Like You.” With the recent success of the underground MC clique SlaughterHouse, Joey’s cult like fan following and his celebrity, due to his penchant for smashing big booty models, there’s no reason this song shouldn’t have success. No disrespect to Tank, but this record would be a possible Top 10 smash with an Usher or Chris Breezy…I’m just saying.

After the BET mini Concrete Wrestlemania in Atlanta that went down a few weeks back, you knew it wouldn’t be long before new music hit the streets. Well, first up to bat is the Snowman Young Jeezy with his latest ode to the streets “Get Right.” The track has that classic Jeezy feel from TM:101 Let’s Get It, you know the lines and phrases and ad-libs that took Jeezy from hood to superstar. “Get Right” has anthem potential especially in the club scene were a hot record from the streets is needed right now for the coming cold months. Word on the street is a new Jeezy album is on the horizon. Stay tuned.

Let’s keep it real gutter. Next track that needs to be in your rotation is this new Styles P track “I Know.” If’s off that new project he has called The World’s Hardest MC which hits the streets on November 13. When it comes to L.O.X. or D Block, whichever your prefer, Styles P always brings the grime. But as a solo artist, you can really grasp his poetic storytelling to its fullest degree, all under dope production. And as always producer Jahlil Beats doesn’t disappoint.

Harlem Stand Up. This new track “You Gon Get This Work” by Harlem’s own Loaded Lux has been making the rounds in NYC MC circles as well the airwaves. If you’re not up on Lux get your Google on and peep his freestyle battle with rapper Calico that set the blogisphere on fire this summer. This track “Gon Get This Work” is a perfect intro for Lux, who may not be the face of the modern Harlem rap scene, but he’s definitely a product of uptown NYC’s world famous hustle. Time will tell for Lux but keep your eye out as this new record begins to spin in a hood or on the airwaves near you!

The RZA has been going HAM, promoting his new movie The Man With The Iron Fists. It’s still crazy to me that the founder of Shaolin (Staten) Island’s 36th Chambers is now a full on movie producer making flicks with Quentin Tarrentino. Recently, some of the finished new tracks have leaked from what appears to be a very large soundtrack for the film. This new Wu Tang track “Six Directions of Boxing” is a posse cut that is vintage 36 Chambers indeed. It features classic bars from most of the original group, minus, of course, Ol Dirty Bastard (R.I.P.), Raekwon and RZA. Still, members like Cappadonna and the rarely heard from GZA lace this track RZA razor sharp! A must listen to for all Wu fans. Until We Read Again.
