Lupe Fiasco made headlines today, because according to the “Bitch Bad” rapper, he was approached by aliens as a child.
Now Lupe has made some interesting declarations, but this one might take the cake.
Lupe isn’t the first, nor will he be the last musician to claim he’s been touched by an angel, whoops, we mean alien.

Chris Brown: During an interview with FUSE, Chris Brown revealed his Fortune album artwork was inspired by “Ancient Aliens.” Let’s also not forget how Chris Brown rocked an alien costume that showed off his VERY human body part.
Katy Perry: Pop singer Katy Perry dedicated an entire song to extraterrestrials, “E.T.” Despite being raised in a strict Christian home, Katy’s always believed in science and the paranormal world of aliens. In an interview, Katy Perry dished about believing in aliens:
“I’m so into extraterrestrial stuff. … It’s very difficult for me to look up into the sky in the middle of the night and not think that our planet is one of … a bajillion. It’s really, really small. And Russell and I are interested in anything extraterrestrial. I mean, we’re going to space!”
50 Cent: 50 is used to being one of hip-hop’s biggest bullies, but he’s also one of a few rappers who actually believes in life outside of earth. During a discussion about aliens, 50 admitted:
“I read a lot of science fiction because I just want to get away from what’s going on at the time, I read fantasy books – Like things about different planets and other worlds – It’s interesting how often they’ve made films with aliens in them and it has to come from somewhere. Why do I keep seeing the aliens landing on earth in films? I believe something is going on that they ain’t telling us.”
Blink-182: Blink-182 believe aliens exist, which also happens to be the title of their popular track “Aliens Exist.” Blink-182’s belief is more intense than a catchy song. Tom Delonge of Blink-182’s friend is basically an alien chaser for the government. In an interview, Tom went on a long rant about UFOs and aliens.
John Lennon: In 1974, the Beatles rocker claimed he saw a flying saucer hovering over his New York City apartment. The next day, John called the local newspapers. John even made a song about it titled, “Nobody Told Me,” where he sings about seeing aliens in New York.
Lil Wayne: New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne is not the same, he is a Martian. It’s not our declaration, Lil Wayne said it himself. Apparently, the “Lollipop” rapper believes he is an alien and his song “Phone Home” is dedicated to his extraterrestrial beliefs.
David Bowie: Where do we start with David Bowie? It’s no surprise that David Bowie believes in aliens, because he created an entire alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, around the concept of extraterrestrials. As a kid, David Bowie also said he saw numerous flying saucers.
Elvis Presley: Elvis Presley’s belief in aliens went as far as the afterlife, literally. Besides being followed by weird lights throughout his life, and the visit he received by aliens as a child, lights and a UFO were seen flying over Graceland shortly after he was laid to rest. Weird, we know.
Mick Jagger: Mick Jagger has seen aliens not once, but twice. According to the Rolling Stones rocker, he once saw an alien while camping out at the Glastonbury and once at a concert in California.
