Last night, President Obama made his appeal to voters about why he should be re-elected in November during his sixth appearance on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show.

Funny man and TV host Jon Stewart managed to ask the President tough questions on issues like US security and the killings of four US diplomats, in addition to poking fun at the POTUS. Stewart started the interview by cracking on Obama’s lackluster debate performance in Denver.

He held up two pictures of Mrs. Obama after each debate, one photo showed her looking upset and the other, she seemed pleased. He joked that he couldn’t tell which debate was which and asked the President to help him out. The interview became more intense when Stewart implied that Obama and his administration was confused about the attacks on US embassies that left four US diplomats dead.

Obama responded saying:

“We weren’t confused about the fact that four Americans had been killed. I wasn’t confused about the fact that we needed to ramp up diplomatic security around the world right after it happened. I wasn’t confused about the fact that we had to investigate exactly what happened so it gets fixed. And I wasn’t confused about the fact that we’re going to hunt down whoever did it and bring them to justice.”

When the issue of liberty and security came up, the conversation shifted between wiretapping and 50 Shades of Grey. While Obama was explaining the modifications he made to policies implemented under President Bush, Obama said, “These are not sexy issues.” Stewart quickly retorted, “You don’t know what I find sexy!”

Amused, the President responded saying, “I saw you flash that Shades of Grey thing [book cover in an earlier segment]. I know what you’ve been reading. We’re not going to go there. I’m still the President.”
