The company, Blue Ivy Events, has been operational since 2009, but after Beyonce gave birth, the Carters wanted to trademark their daughter’s name – allegedly so Beyonce can start a baby clothing line with the same name.

Well, in comes Blue Ivy Events owner Veronica Alexandra, who successfully defended her company’s name.
A local Fox News affiliate out in Boston reports:
The ruling means the Carters have no legal rights to keep the name to themselves.
There appears to be no hard feelings between the parties. In fact, the Blue Ivy Events website features a picture of hip hop’s royal couple along with a message that reads, “Congrats to our soul mate couple with baby Blue Ivy.”
Let’s see how Blue Ivy Events survives once the Bey Hive finds out Beyonce can’t use her baby’s name!
