After spending hours fighting reports that Emanuel Steward had passed earlier today, the Hall of Famer’s sister Diane Steward-Jones confirmed to News 7 in Detroit that Steward had died at the age of 68.
Around 11:30am EST today, numerous outlets were reporting that the trainer had died. It turns out this news was a little premature. He was still alive at that point, but finally did pass at 3:00pm EST.
