Yesterday Judge Debra S. Nelson reserved the ruling on the gag order for George Zimmerman but will issue a ruling on Monday. However the family of Trayvon Martin want to make it clear that the motion for the order was not requested by them.

In an issued statement, the family says:

“The motion for the gag order did not come from the family of Trayvon Martin; it came from the State of Florida. We will continue to represent our clients in a professional manner and push for them to have their day in court. All that Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin have ever asked for from day one is for a jury to weigh all of the relevant evidence and render a fair and unbiased verdict in this case.”

Judge Nelson will make her decision on Monday and there will be a Stand Your Ground hearing set for April, 45 days before the start of the June trial.

Nevertheless our support continues to be with the Trayvon Martin family.
