NEW MUSIC: Kendrick Lamar & Drake “Poetic Justice” 

Yup, but this is only the beginning. 

Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar released his album, good kid, m.A.A.d city last week, and in appreciation for the constant fan support “The Recipe” rapper decided to release a new track. 

Kendrick tweeted his new track with this message attached: 

“The week is up… Yall did it… AppreciatIon day is TODAY. With that being said. Me and COLE was in the stu lastnight.”

Produced by J.Cole and Canei Finch, “The Jig Is Up (Dump’ N),” features Kendrick calling out his critics and haters, including rapper Shyne who blasted Kendrick calling his album “trash” on Twitter.

“Ya’ll pray to God this week I be putting up bombs/I pray to God this beat is good enough for Shyne (laughs), if not J.Cole, you’re shit is trash, well at least my opinion just made everyone laugh,” raps Kendrick.  

Kendrick’s new album good kid, m.A.A.d city had stiff competition on release day with Taylor Swift’s Red album hitting store shelves the same day, but Kendrick’s album still moved 242,122 copies in the first week. 

If it weren’t for Taylor Swift, Kendrick would have definitely came in at the number one spot on Billboard.
