Jessica Simpson’s cooler kid sister, Ashlee Simpson, has decided to return to music. It’s been years since we’ve heard a musical peep from the “Pieces Of Me” singer, who’s been busy being a great mommy to her adorable son Bronx.
Delivering a treat instead of a trick on Halloween, Ashlee officially announced her forthcoming new single “Bat For A Heart.”

The black and white video is actually quite creepy, which is probably why Ashlee decided to drop a preview of the song on the most frightening holiday.
“I’m gonna bang bang, fuck you up / Twist you out inside of my head,” sings Ashlee.
The new track will be accompanied by a new video and will be released for the whole world to enjoy on November 21.
