The son of legendary Civil Rights leader Jesse Jackson, Sr. has reportedly exploited his campaign donations for personal use, which include decorating his home in Washington, D.C. His plea deal with the feds is currently being worked out by veteran white-collar criminal defense attorney Dan Webb.

According to CBS Chicago, his deal will include:

–Jackson resigning for health reasons.

–His pleading guilty to charges involving misuse of campaign funds.

–The congressman’s repayment of any contributions that were converted to personal use, such as home furnishings, improper travel or gifts.

At least some jail time would appear to be inevitable for Jackson.

Jackson was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and has been on medical leave since June 10. It’s a shame Jesse Jackson, Jr.’s reputation will now forever be tarnished!
