It’s not often that everyday couples get a personal congratulations from the POTUS when they get engaged, but one lucky couple not only got to share their engagement story with President Obama, they had the whole experience captured on video!

On a day when the President stopped by his campaign office in Chicago, one woman told Obama that he is the reason she and her boyfriend got engaged. Obama then called over her finance and egged him on to share the story behind his proposal.
As he explained the series of events that lead up to the proposal, the commander-in-cool interjected in the conversation, cracking jokes and adding his two cents. He also did the famous Beyonce hand wave from her “Single Ladies” video.
