Back in September, Mel Carter, the nephew of Jay-Z, dropped his excellent mixtape Popular Stranger.

One of the smoother tracks on the tape is the romantic love ballad “Black Rose,” which is dedicated to a special lady out there. Mel just dropped the video for “Black Rose,” also featuring the lovely Sonyae Elise.
The video is relatively simple: it features various shots of Mel (rocking a “Popular Stranger” shirt, of course) and Sonyae, as well as images of red roses blending in with a black background.
