Popular streaming site Pandora has been lobbying for lawmakers in Congress to pass a bill called the “Internet Radio Fairness Act.” If passed, one of the things this bill would do is change the way artists receive royalties. The artists are not happy about this. A group of 125 musicians, including RihannaMissy Elliott and Billy Joel, have signed a letter opposing the bill. According to the letter, if the bill gets passed, 85 percent of the money they receive from streaming services would be cut. [Reuters]

Popular rap website SOHH has a cool weekly segment where they ask entertainers their top five favorite rappers, dead or alive (with the exception being that they can’t name some of the usual cliché names like Tupac, Jay-Z, Nas, etc.) This week they asked Jim Jones, and his list is very interesting, to say the least.
