Originally released in August 2011, The-Dream shared his very personal EP, 1977, as a peace offering for the delays of his long-awaited fourth studio album.

1977 spawned controversy when the album told a very vivid story about the perils of love and the disintegration of his marriage to Christina Milian

Despite the controversy, 1977 received high accolades for its honesty and artistry. So with such great reviews, The-Dream has decided to release the album commercially.

The once free album will feature the original 10 tracks plus two new tracks titled “AK47″ and “Tender Tendencies.”

1977 is scheduled to hit store shelves December 18.

No word when fans will receive his highly anticipated fourth installment of The Love series, Love IV MMXII, also known as Love IV: Diary of a Madman.
