Well, it’s another Tuesday and you haven’t gotten to the middle of the week and it’s not quite the beginning.  The best part about Tuesday is that we have some great things you can do today that will only set you back $10 or less. If you happen to be in the Albany or the Upstate NY area, then this installment of Dollars & Sense is just for you. Check it out below!

Visit The Iroquois Indian Museum

If you have ever been interested in some of the Native American culture that once inhabited and in some cases still do reside in the Upstate NY region, the Iroquois Indian Museum is the perfect outing for you. Currently there is an exhibit that showcases 150 years of Iroquois Beadwork and more than 200 beaded objects that showcase the rich history of the Iroquois in the area. Especially with Thanksgiving right around the corner, a brief history lesson on the history of the Native American may not be the worst idea. Especially if it’s only $8.

Financial Tip Of The Day

Plan Your Meals Around Your Grocery Store’s Flyer.

Instead of just planning your meals based on a cookbook or whatever you can dream up, plan all your meals around what’s on sale in your grocery store’s flyer. Look at the biggest sales, then plan meals based on those ingredients and what you have on hand, and you’ll find yourself with a much smaller food bill than you’re used to.
