The 51-year-old President and his family decided to spend their holiday giving back to those who are less fortunate – with the help of his wife, daughters and members of the Oregon State men’s basketball team, of which Michelle Obama’s brother is coach.

The family handed out specially prepared packages, while a White House aide said that the bags contained carrots, apples, and season-appropriate sweet potatoes, all the makings for a healthy Thanksgiving.
