1993 was definitely a great year in sitcom history – it introduced the world of Cory Matthews to television viewers.

The hit ’90s show Boy Meets World had an incredible run, ending in 2000, but has become even more popular over the years due to re-runs and the wonderful World Wide Web.

Fortunately for fans of the show, Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel (Cory and Topanga) have just signed on to continue the saga in the spin-off Girl Meets World, which focuses on their characters’ pre-teen daughter.

The original Boy brought us a whole new and refreshing perspective on love, as we watched Cory fall for Topanga Lawrence, the dream girl who eventually became his wife.

The show also introduced Mr. Feeny, who always brought the plot together with his philosophical words, and could arguably be the wisest man on this Earth!

And what would our TV experience be like if we didn’t have Eric Matthews to introduce us to the Feeney call?

There were tough times, and some of the most beautiful times, but all in all, Boy Meets World has become a part of its loyal viewers and fans.

Check out some of the show’s best moments below!

It all started when Cory and Topanga shared their very first kiss. Even though Cory was resistant, he always referred back to this moment whenever he had to prove his love for Topanga.

Morgan, Cory’s beloved sister, was always quick with the comebacks. In this moment, Cory was too fed up with her antics, and came at her with the quickness…literally!

One of the toughest scenes to watch on Boy Meets World was when Mr. Turner got into a deadly motorcycle accident, but Shawn didn’t want to face him laying passed out all bloodied and bruised in the hospital. Eventually, Cory and Topanga talk him into staying, leading to one of the most precious moments in the show.

When Eric Matthews comes out with the ‘Feeny Call,’ you know some madness is about to happen.

After Cory and Topanga went through a lot of turmoil, and a bitter breakup, they finally made up after everyone worked hard to get them back together.

While Cory is insecure dating the drop dead gorgeous Topanga, she proves a point to him that beauty is on the inside. Not thinking anything of it beforehand, she chops off her hair right there in the hallway, but looks in the mirror in horror.

Cory and Topanga certainly had a relationship all their own, and it was hilarious when it came to simple tasks such as picking out a karaoke song.

Over the course of the show, Eric became more and more prominent with his hairstyle, eventually growing it longer and longer. That period soon ended when he decided to show off his newest hairstyle for all of the university to see.

Eric being Eric was not something anyone wants to come across. While picking him as his best man, Cory comes face-to-face with Eric’s slightly idiotic mindset when disaster strikes.

The last scene of Boy Meets World is one that goes down in the history books for television. It doesn’t seem like it can be watched by anyone without shedding a tear or two. With Mr. Feeny dismissing his class that he had been with for nearly 10 years, even the teach got choked up while expressing his love for the gang.
