Tragedy struck Miami yesterday as a bus hit a concrete overpass at Miami airport, killing two people out of the 30+ that were riding.
The 8-foot-6-inch overpass was too low for the white bus, which also critically injured three people, according to the Associated Press.

One of the victims who lost their life died on impact, while the other passed away after being taken to the hospital.
Osvaldo Lopez, an officer for Miami-Dade aviation, said of the scene:
“It was just very bloody.”
Lopez said that when he heard the noise, he thought for sure that it was a car crash. When he stepped onto the bus after the crash, he saw several passengers thrown into the center aisle.

According to witnesses, the bus was going about 20 mph when it hit the overpass.
