“Rumor Has It” that Adele is being reprimanded for not registering her newborn baby with the government! The Grammy Award-winning 21 singer gave birth to a baby boy back in October, but neglected to register her son in the allowed English timeframe of 42 days.

According to The Sun, since neither Adele nor her partner Simon Konecki partook in the necessary act of registering their baby, they’ll be faced with quite a fine. But no big deal because:
“Cops are hardly going to be banging on their door tomorrow and it’s probably just an oversight on their part. Most parents register their baby within a couple of weeks because it’s a nice thing to do – and because there’s a maximum fine of £1,000 if they don’t. There’s loads of reasons why parents are late and millions of couples don’t bother for ages.”
