It happened to Kim K. It happened to Halle. And just recently it happened to The Biebs! Celebrities are used to dealing with crazed fans; it comes with the territory.

DETAILS: WTF!? Convicted Killer Planned To Murder & Castrate Justin Bieber!

But sometimes shit just gets too cray. And that’s when fans turn into STANS. Just recently, Dana Martin, a convicted murderer serving time in a New Mexco prison, plotted on killing and then castrating Justin Bieber. Thing is, Martin is serving two life sentences…so he enlisted the help of two other fools (Tanner and Mark in the mug shots above) to do the work. And then ratted them out. Both were arrested before reaching Bieber.

Turns out Martin had a love/hate relationship with The Biebs (reports say he even has a tattoo of him on his leg). He’s in jail, so he’s never had any contact with him..but some stars aren’t so lucky.

Some stalkers are just weird. Some are really creepy. And others…well others end in tragedy. Here are some unforgettable celebrity stalker moments:

Selena Gomez/Thomas Brodnicki: The 46-year-old Brodnicki was issued a restraining order just this past January for threatening to kill the actress. I wonder if Floyd Mayweather gave the Biebs any fighting tips to protect his then girlfriend.

Jodie Foster/Ronald Reagan/John Hinckley Jr. : When a young Jodie Foster took a break from acting to focus on school, Hinckly enrolled in Yale University just to be close to her. He left many love letters and poems; one letter outlined his plan to assassinate President Ronald Regan to impress her. He tried shooting Reagan (who survived), but he was found not guilty by reason of insanity. SCARY!

Leonardo DiCaprio/Livia Bistriceanu: Um…ok. Not sure if Inception has anything to do with this, but Bistriceanu believed that Leo was the father of Jesus. As in God. As in WTF?! She also claims to be married to DiCaprio and carrying his child.

Jennifer Aniston/Jason R. Peyton: After stalking Aniston for days on Sunset Boulevard, Peyton was picked up by police; he was found with a sharp object, duct tape and love notes. Not sure what he was planning to do, but they slapped him with a temporary restraining order. Photo: TMZ

Erin Andrews/David Barrett: Andrews followed the ESPN correspondent across the country, shooting nude videos of her through hotel room key holes. Not sure how he even made that happen, but eventually he posted the videos to the internet. He was sentenced to two and a half years in prison.

Shawn Johnson/Robert O’Ryan: Olympic star Shawn Johnson’s stalker was sentenced to a mental hospital for five years after breaking into the studio lot where the gymnast was performing on Dancing with the Stars in 2008. Police found two loaded guns, a knife and of course…love notes.

Gwyneth Paltrow/Dante Soiu: Soiu, a 46-year-old pizza delivery man, sent Paltrow up to five letters a day sometimes, some including pornographic content. She was so freaked out that she told the court during trial that she felt sexually assaulted. Now, he’s on lockdown at a psych ward.

Halle Berry/Greg Broussard: A restraining order filed by Berry in 2004 read, “Mr. Broussard, a stranger to me, has imagined a relationship with me wherein he and I are engaged to be married.” In response, Broussard stated that Berry “won’t leave him alone” and “comes to speak to him in his dreams.” Doesn’t mean you can stalk her, man. Halle Berry is in everyone’s dreams.

Sometimes things end up really tragic:

Paula Abdul/Paula Goodspeed: After telling Abdul on “American Idol” how much she loved her, Goodspeed killed herself outside of the star’s L.A. mansion.

John Lennon/Mark David Chapman: Chapman gunned down the Beatle in front of his apartment building in one of the saddest days in music history.

Rebecca Schaeffer/Robert John Bardo: Many probably won’t recognize the baby-faced Schaeffer, who starred in the TV series “My Sister Sam” in the ’80s, but she was stalked, shot and killed by Bardo in ’89 in her own home. In light of his success, California passed the first anti-stalking law in 1990.
