Trinidad Jame$ fans were ecstatic to hear that one of their favorite new artists was signed to Def Jam this past week for a rumored $2million dollars.

After killing all of his performances and appearances in NYC, he talked to the Rap-Up about getting signed before putting on another memorable performance at Cali Christmas 2012.

He told the website:

“I live my life how I’m feeling and it felt right. I’m really not a one-hit wonder. I’m really not. People chose to like that song. People fail to realize that they’re the ones who make a buzz. You can’t really buy a true buzz. To all the people who hate that I’m doing so well, you should hate the people who made me do so well ’cause all I did was make the music and put it out.”
