Nike and Kobe Bryant have a long history of putting out sneakers on the cutting edge of both design and style.

The Kobe System allowed wearers to choose an insole based on speed or agility, but the Air Force 1 that was recently released simply put a new spin on a classic in time for the shoe’s 30th anniversary.

Kobe releases an Air Force 1 just about every year, but this year, the Black Mamba may have outdone himself with two separate Air Force 1s for the Air Force 1 High “Kobe” Pack. Essentially it is the same shoe in a “Summit White” and “Black/Purple” colorway. The shoe features distressed leather, light tonal upper and rope piping along the classic silhouette. As you would expect from an Air Force 1 Hi, the shoe also boasts an ankle reinforcement velcro strap, a Phylon midsole, rubber outsole and Air-Sole unit.

Both pairs are available now via the Nike Store for $100, which isn’t bad when you take into consideration that Kobe’s signature shoe starts at $140. If you would like to check out some detailed images of the shoe, click through the gallery above!
