On the heels of his recent name change, rapper N.O.R.E., who now goes by the name P.A.P.I., releases a brand new visual for his brand new name.
NEW VIDEO: 2 Chainz “I’m Different”
The acronym, P.A.P.I. stands for “Power Always Proves Intelligence,” which is vastly different from the acronym, N.O.R.E., which stands for “N*gga on The Run Eating.”
In a recent interview with MTV, P.A.P.I. spoke about the reasoning behind his recent name change, stating:
“Sometimes if you’re lost, the best way to find where you’re at is to go to the beginning. My mother doesn’t even call me Victor, my father has never called me Victor, my teachers didn’t even call me Victor… My name in Lefrak City and my name in Queens is actually P.A.P.I., it’s not even N.O.R.E.”

The video features P.A.P.I. along with his rapper friends 2 Chainz, Pusha T and French Montana, who all have a pretty good time playing basketball with big booty babes.
The video eventually ends with a beautiful tribute to fallen music executive/manager Chris Lighty, who committed suicide in 2012.
“Tadow” is off P.A.P.I.’s forthcoming album, Student Of The Game, due out later on this year.
