Aw sh*t! Oprah strikes gold again!
As new allegations about his use of performance-enhancing drugs surface, Lance Armstrong has agreed to a “no holds-barred” interview with Oprah Winfrey.
It will be the first interview for Armstrong since his cycling career ended due to reports that he abused drugs that aided in his seven Tour de France titles.
The show will broadcast on Jan. 17 at 9 p.m. EST on OWN and Oprah.com.
Since the allegations, first reported by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, Armstrong has strongly denied the charges, but he was still stripped of his Tour de France titles.
On Friday it was reported by the New York Times that he is considering acknowledging the use of the performance enhancers.
The newspaper report cited anonymous sources, and Armstrong lawyer Tim Herman told The Associated Press that night he had no knowledge of Armstrong considering a confession.
Well if he did do it, we know Oprah can find out! We’ll definitely be tuned in.
