Pairing human action figure Arnold Schwarzenegger up with self-proclaimed Jackass Johnny Knoxville in a film seems like something we’d never even see in the distant future – that was until the two joined forces in the new film The Last Stand.

Arnold is staying true to his action roots with the film, which chronicles his character as a sheriff with an inexperienced staff, whose one goal is to intercept a leader of a drug cartel as he busts out of a courthouse and speeds to the Mexican border.

Arnold obviously had some leadership experience to draw off, he was the Governor of California after all!

Arnold and Johnny sat down with GlobalGrind’s Ben Lyons to talk about their role alongside one another in the new film, and Ben even has a personal inquiry of his own that he’s been holding onto for about 20 years.

Check out the interview in the video above. The Last Stand hits the silver screen this Friday, Jan 18th.
