Once again, another young person’s life is lost due to bullying.
Jadin Bell, a 15 year-old from Oregon, hung himself from playground equipment at a local elementary school and was recently taken off life support.
He was pushed to the edge after constantly being taunted by classmates for being gay. Rude comments came face-to-face and through the internet and eventually, it became too much for him to handle.

Bud Hill, a close friend of the family, described Bell:
“If someone was down and out he would walk into a room and say a couple quick words and everybody would just forget about their problems and smile. He just had a gift.”
Jody Bullock stated:
“If he saw a wounded butterfly [as a child] he wanted to heal it … He is an amazing young man who is smart and very social; he has a persona and a presence that you want to be a part of.”

Bell participated on his high school cheerleading team. Over 200 people attended a candlelight service held in his honor last week.
Our love goes out to the friends and family.
Will bullying ever stop?
