Amid the rumors of Lana Del Rey’s possible retirement from music to become a screenwriter, the “Blue Jeans” songstress is actually working on her follow-up album to Born To Die.
According to DailyMail, Lana is currently in the studio in Santa Monica, California recording new tracks for her sophomore effort.
Lana Del Rey’s official major label debut, Born To Die, has sold over 500K units in the U.S. and a whopping 2 million units in Europe.
With the success of her debut effort, Lana decided to re-release her album 10 months after its initial release with eight new tracks, which she titled the Paradise Edition.
Lana’s re-release was well received by music lovers, which ultimately landed her in the top 10 on the Billboard 200.
Hip-hop heads can catch Lana Del Rey on Bad Boy rapper French Montana’s debut album, Excuse My French, which is set to drop April 16.
