Will Lana Del Rey be a part of The Great Gatsby soundtrack? It certainly looks that way!

NEW MUSIC: Lana Del Rey “Back To Basics!”

Even though the Born To Die songstress has made no official announcement, she is definitely stirring up quite a buzz amongst fans and music enthusiasts alike. Aside from posting the film’s logo to her Facebook page – which is no longer there – Lana posted on Twitter:

But that’s not the only indication that Lana will be featured on The Great Gatsby soundtrack. This past summer, she said:

“I’ve been helping compose scores for movies. So, like, there’s a movie coming out in the summer that’s set in the 1920s and it’s been fun for me to write love songs for a woman who is the star.”

And anybody who’s familiar with the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic, knows it was set in the 1920’s and one of the film’s central characters is Daisy Buchanan. Also, the Baz Luhrmann adaptation of the novel will be in theaters May 10th.

We’re excited to hear what sort of “National Anthem” Lana Del Rey may have in store for this project!
