We are knee deep in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and we’ve already seen half of what designers have to offer for the fall.

There has been the good, the bad, and the “meh,” and coming in with the “good” is Custo Barcelona’s lineup for their Fall 2013 collection.

The pair are the most prominent Spanish designers at Fashion Week. Designer Custo Dalmau has been showing at NYFW since 1997, but that doesn’t mean what they had to serve up was going to be stale at all.

The high energy runway collection saw a blend of what the designers called “Beauty and The Beast.” The beauty? Clearly all of the flawless embroidered fits that mixed in colorful prints with beautiful detailing. The beast? Faux fur goodness and masculine suits.

Overall the runway saw a plethora of patterns with printed suits, and provided an escape from the city living for a bohemian chic escape.

Trends spotted: Bohemian, Embroidery, Fringe, Latin, Prints-Patterns, Stripes, Tribal

Faces in the front row: Model Almudena Fernandez, Angela Simmons, J. Alexander; Micah Jesse

Our rating: Metallics, prints and beaded goodness? How could we go wrong here?

Our favorite look: The metallic mini dress with layered embellishments and a high neck, we could totally see this look paired with a bright lip for a spin on the town.
