It’s not clear if Demi Lovato will be back for season three of The X-Factor.
But here’s something that we do know: Demi has a new album coming out sometime later this year, and that LP’s first single, “Heart Attack,” will be dropping on March 4.
We learned this yesterday when the singer released the single art for “Heart Attack” and a preview of the song.

In the video she put out, we don’t see many visuals – it’s just a close up of the singer’s face. Rather, we hear Demi reveal some thoughts about her new album, which still doesn’t have a title yet:
“I think I’ve opened up more on this album. My life began to evolve and I started to grow. These are songs about the celebration of life and how rewarding it can be. This is what this album is about.”
Things haven’t been exactly peachy for the pop star over the last couple of years.

In 2010, Demi went to rehab for an eating disorder. It sounds like some of those struggles will be covered in the new album.
