Lovers of art may be in for a real treat this upcoming spring/summer season. Supreme, who has worked with the likes of Damien Hirst, Takashi Murakami and Marilyn Minter, will be working with another big name from the art world.
This time around, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s art will be featured on items in Supreme’s upcoming collaboration. Essentially, you will be able to own artwork from one of Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz and Rick Ross’ favorite artists for a fraction of the cost.

If we had to guess based off past artist collaborations, we would say there will be skate decks that also feature the artist’s work available for purchase. Additionally, there will probably be t-shirts featuring Basquiat’s work.
As if that was not big enough news, this past week, Supreme also announced there will be a part 2 to their extremely popular collaborative collection with Comme des Garcons.

Part 2 of the collaboration will once again feature hoodies with the mirrored Supreme box logo; also there will be another round of Vans sneakers, and new to the collaboration, they’ve added the classic Comme des Garcons wallet as well. Chances are there will also be t-shirts available in the collection, but only time will tell for now.
