It’s been a long battle between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, but the fight might die down soon enough.
While the NBA star has been trying to drag out the divorce proceedings in the last year and a half, a trial date has finally been set for the two.

According to Gossip Cop, Judge Scott Gordon set the trial date for May 6th, which is going against the objections from Kris’ legal team.
Kris has been fighting to get an annulment for the marriage, rather than a divorce, to prove that it was all a case of fraud.
TMZ reports that the proceedings of the trial will definitely happen in May, and Kris can’t do anything about it.

Kris’ lawyer predictably tried to get another delay before setting a trial date, but the judge wasn’t buying what he was selling.
TMZ broke the story … one of Kris’ lawyers bailed on his client yesterday, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Sources tell us … the lawyer felt Kris was full of BS wanting an annulment, because there was no proof of fraud.
Hopefully this means that both camps can put this marriage behind them and move on with their lives!
