At this point it should come as no surprise that Karl Lagerfeld is a Jack-of-all-trades.
The Chanel Creative Director’s latest undertaking comes in the form of art direction for Cassina’s Parisian showroom’s ‘An Authentic Eye’ exhibition.
Since 1927, Cassina has been a preeminent design leader and manufacturer of original contemporary furniture. For the ‘Authentic Eye’ exhibit, Karl curated 30 iconic pieces of their furniture, all of which he owns, to photograph.
With such a long history, it’s not a surprise that Karl is a fan of the brand. Karl experimented with lighting, placement of the furniture and different backgrounds to really make the photographs pop. You can check out how it all went down in the gallery above.
