It looks like trouble won’t stay away from the Pistorius family.

Oscar Pistorius is currently on trial for premeditated murder for supposedly shooting and killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, but his brother is now also in court as well facing homicide charges.

According  to the Huffington Post, Carl Pistorius is facing a homicide charge after a 2008 road death that he was involved in.

Lawyer Kenny Oldwage said that the case involves Carl “in which a woman motorcyclist sadly lost her life.” He said that `’there is no doubt that Carl is innocent and the charge will be challenged in court.”

He appeared in court last Thursday, around the same time that Oscar was in court as well for a bail hearing.

Both Carl and Oscar are staying in the home of their uncle Arnold in Waterkloof for the time being while their trials go on.

Oldwage has said of Carl:

‘Carl deeply regrets the accident” and that a blood test showed he was not drunk at the time. `’It was a tragic road accident after the deceased collided with Carl’s car.”

The charges were originally dropped from the case, but reinstated later after much outrage.

We hope that justice is properly served, and pray for their families.
