For some rappers, selling out New York City’s Roseland Ballroom is a crazy feat. That’s nothing to Kendrick Lamar, who performed two sold-out shows at Roseland last night.

There was an early show and late one. While any Kendrick Lamar concert is a good look, it’s clear that the late show yesterday was the better deal.

During K. Dot’s second show, not only did he have his TDE homies on stage — ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul — but there were also appearances by A$AP Rocky (the two performed “Problems” together) and 50 Cent (who did a number of songs, including the Kendrick-assisted, “We Up.”)

We have to say, Kendrick’s trip to NY was pretty productive. Not only did he have the killer Roseland shows, but he also stopped by David Letterman Live to perform his hit Drake-assisted single “Poetic Justice.”

There was no Drake; however, we did get to see what K. Dot sounds like being backed by a live band. (It sounds good. Shocking.)

Check out a clip of Kendrick at Roseland last night above and then watch Kendrick hit the stage at Letterman below.
