NEW MUSIC: Gucci Mane & 2 Chainz “Dirty Cup”
Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane is changing his name – well, maybe not.
The Trap God rapper announced this morning that after eight years of being known as Gucci Mane, he’s officially laying the moniker to rest.
Gucci made the announcement on Twitter:
Twenty five minutes later, it seems like Gucci changed his mind, tweeting:
NEW MUSIC: Young Scooter, Gucci Mane & Wale “Pass Around”
Apparently, Gucci’s fans don’t like the name Guwop, so he won’t be changing it, for now at least.
Gucci just teamed up with Atlanta newcomer Young Scooter on their Free Bricks II mixtape, which dropped last week.
Gucci Mane is also set to drop new project Trap House 3 on July 2.
