It’s been a year since our star was taken away from us and yesterday, the FBI released its files on a trio of investigations conducted on behalf of Whitney Houston. The records show that the FBI conducted one investigation into an alleged extortion attempt in 1992, but agents and prosecutors determined no crime occurred. The 128-page file covers the height of the Grammy-winning singer’s popularity but does not contain any new personal details. Classes at Oberlin College in Ohio were canceled after a person wearing a KKK hood was spotted near the Afrikan Heritage House. The college, which has seen a recent uptick in “hate-related incidents on campus” was planning activities to celebrate tolerance and solidarity on Monday. Campus police are investigating. A surrogate mother for a couple fled across country to give birth to the baby after the parents urged her to abort the fetus due to severe abnormalities they discovered the baby would have.
