Another Friday is upon us and the weekend is just about here.

You probably can’t wait for the weekend to start but until it actually does, we have some great things for you to do today that won’t cost you anything. Today’s installment of Dollars & Sense is all about free things in Seville, Spain. Check it out below!

Take The Santa Cruz Tour

Seville’s most attractive – and heavily touristed – area, the old Jewish quarter of Santa Cruz, is best appreciated by foot, and need not cost a penny.

Some of the city’s most prized properties are among the cobbled alleyways; visitors can wander backstreets with thick-walled houses and window box flowers at their leisure.

View The Art of Seville

In a 17th-century former convent, Seville’s Museo de Bellas Artes is one of the most beautiful art galleries in Europe. It has cloistered courtyards, hedged gardens, and offers a peaceful, atmospheric retreat from the city. What is more, the collection of Spanish paintings is second only to that in the Prado, and includes works by Velázquez, Murillo (both born in the city), El Greco and Zurbarán among many others.

Financial Tip Of The Day

Keep Your Receipts

You probably monitored your expenses for several weeks to make a budget. Once the budget is made, though, it can be tempting to stop keeping up with every little expense. But keeping track really can help you stick to your budget. Save your receipts, and write down the places you spend money. You’ll be less likely to overspend if you realize how much money has actually gone through your hands.
