    Seems like Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong is back on his feet after a short stint in rehab. 

    DETAILS: Green Day & Eminem Will Be Headlining The Reading & Leeds Festival 

    The Green Day frontman is currently working writing a new play inspired by the great Shakespeare. 

    According to Spin: 

    “The one time star of the American Idiot Broadway musical will reportedly write new songs for the company’s take on These Paper Bullets, a rock’n’roll version of William Shakespeare’sMuch Ado About Nothing. Set to have its world premiere in March 2014, the play follows a band from Liverpool, England as they navigate romance and London’s music scene. These Paper Bullets was adapted by Rolin Jones and will be directed by Jackson Gay.”

    DETAILS: Green Day Working On “Quatro” Documentary   

    The “Oh Love” trio are currently in Austin for the SXSW Film & Music Festival where they will be having a special showing of their Quatro documentary. They’re also supposed to unveil the world premiere of Broadway Idiot today, which is a film about the band’s journey making American Idiot from the album to the play.
