Actor Malachi Throne, who was known for his roles in Batman and Star Trek has died from cancer at the age of 84.
His actor friend Jim Beaver was the first to break the news via his Facebook page.

He wrote:
“My good friend Malachi Throne died last night. One of the finest actors and finest people I’ve been fortunate enough to know.”

Annette Robinson, Throne’s agent, confirmed his death to the Huffington Post earlier today, and explaining that he had died in his sleep after a long battle with cancer.
