It’s crazy when you think about it, but Detroit MC Danny Brown hasn’t released an album since 2011, when he dropped his sophomore project, XXX.

That’s going to change later this year when Brown drops his latest jawn, Old, later in the summer. The late summer release, however, hasn’t stopped the rapper from dropping “Kush Coma,” the first release off of the new album.

So why did Danny decide to release “Kush Coma” so early? Well, Danny made a deal with his followers: if they could get “Kush Coma” trending on Twitter, he would release the song:

Being a man of his word, Danny released the frantic-sounding song. There was a condition, of course. The album version will feature the homie A$AP Rocky. For now we only get the version that features two Danny Brown verses.
