If we were to bring the world’s of hip-hop and rock & roll together in one interview it would be this one.

Over the years, Black Flag has had 17 frontmen but Henry is by far one of the most memorable. Although Black Flag is known to be an angry punk rock band, Henry’s musical taste ranges from Dion Warwick and Gladys Kight to Bob Dylan and Frédéric Chopin. The two talked in depth about Henry’s love for music that happened to start at a very early age due mainly in part because of his mother’s love for music.

The two also spoke in detail about how Henry got started with Black Flag.  It so happens that because of how the punk rock scene was at the time, Henry actually met the band at a friend’s house because they couldn’t afford hotels at the time.  Later on because he had to go to work after helping them set up for a gig, Henry got to assist in singing a song about having to go to work and inadvertently auditioned for his favorite band. Although that would probably never happen today, it is probably one of the best success stories we have ever heard.
