The Brooklyn rapper releases a 30-second snippet of his Brazilian-inspired new track “Rio.”
Unfortunately, Theophilus’ snippet doesn’t include his vocals, but it does include the production behind the new track.
In a quick message to his fans, Theophilus wrote:
“Rio was written about my trip to Brazil in 2010. i never forgot the memories. felt like i had to dedicate a song to keep that memory alive.”

Theophilus is gearing up to hit the Indio Valley for this year’s Coachella Music Festival.
“Rio” is set to hit iTunes on April 16.
