Ya’ll gon learn today.

Truthfully, Jay-Z always wanted to rhyme like Common Sense, so here it is.

Last week, Jay-Z made headlines for traveling to Cuba on his fifth wedding anniversary with his wife Beyonce, and after much criticism, the Brooklyn rapper released a track addressing the critics titled “Open Letter.”

After receiving support from Cuban rapper Pitbull, Chicago rapper Common decided to get into the debate by adding a few new politically-inspired bars on Jay’s “Open Letter.”

Before posting the song, Common wrote:

“Respect Jay-Z and anyone who stands up for the people.”

“My man went to Cuba, caught in a political triangle, Bermuda/the same way they said she was shooter/ Assata Shakur, they tried to execute her/I went to Cuba to see her,” raps Common.

Take a listen to part 2 of Jay-Z’s “Open Letter” below!
