DETAILS: Ciara Says Rihanna Needs “Love And Affection”
R&B singer Ciara brings back the ’90s in her new video “Body Party.” The 27-year-old singer channels a little bit of Janet Jackson with a little bit of Ghost Town DJ’s 1996 smash video “My Boo.”
Ciara rolls up to an Atlanta mansion party where her and her friends perform a seductive dance sequence. Catching the attention of real life boyfriend rapper/producer Future, Ciara finds herself performing a steamy striptease for her man.
But the hot bedroom scene turns out to be a fantasy created in Future’s mind, and the two lovers just share an innocent dance.
The Directed X video also features cameos by fellow Atlanta artists like Ludacris, Trinidad Jame$, and Ciara’s longtime friend/producer Jazze Pha.
Ciara’s video is so sexy that even rapper Nicki Minaj shouted her out on Twitter, saying:
“BIIIIIIIITTTTTTCCCCCHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! U DID DOT!!!!!!!!. @Ciara im finna practice that handstand backflip shit fo my secret man! LMFAOOOOOOOO.”
“Body Party” is the lead single off her recently re-titled album Ciara.
