Several sites have done their fair share of painting her as a quirky, babbling mess and the former Nickelodeon star is working overtime to let the public know the stories are not true. After calling Complex out in a long tweet, she is using the same assertive strategy with Us Weekly.

She tweeted at the publication:
“Dear @UsWeekly – I don’t know why u feel the need to make up stories about me. I don’t talk to light fixtures. Contact me to ask what I’m up to, instead of stalking people who always make up crazy stories about me! Tweet me your contact email. I’ll email you then always email me to fact check when someone calls in a fake story about me, they’re all fake! I don’t want to be in your magazine in a negative way! I do nothing wrong! Thanks!”
Even though she seems really stable when she writes, Amanda has taken some quirky pics and sent out some really left field tweets, mostly to Drake about killing her vagina, and maybe that’s what’s fueling the fire.

It’s hard to tell what’s going on here… Is Amanda being talked about negatively because of her most recent DUIs, tweets, and new look? Or, are people exaggerating the truth? It’s most likely a little of both.
