The summer is approaching quick fast and in a hurry. A lot of dope music is blazing the airwaves in a city near you. Speaking of dope music, French Montana and his Coke Boys regime have ruled the mp3 and remix game with a slew of hits for the past several summers. The latest remix that’s guaranteed to keep your party knocking is “Freak.” This new version features 16s from Rick Ross and Wale as well as a few words from Mavado and of course a DJ Khaled “we the best!” audio plug.  [pagebreak]

Janelle Monae is one of the most incredible voices to grace music lovers in some time. Her debut album, The ArchAndroid, was both innovating and ground breaking. She truly pushed creativity among African American female singers to a new plateau. Now she’s back with a new banger that features Erykah Badu called “Q.U.E.E.N.” Weird minds are often filled with genius, similar to Frankenstein. What Badu and Monae put together is pure Einstein. Juicy J is one the most creative MCs with longevity in music. Most of the stuff he puts out is at least worth several listens while your high on weed, mollies, life or whatever floats your boat. Last week I caught wind of this new flamer that featured the late but great Pimp C from UGK and T.I. It’s called “Show Out.” It’s actually a remix but with a legend like Pimp on it, it sounds so fresh and new. Enjoy.  [pagebreak]

As if the strip club needed another anthem…well you haven’t heard the new Twista record “Throwin My Money” featuring R Kelly…yes you heard me, I said R Kelly. Both Kells and Twista are well beyond their primes but have attained legendary status. Any new music from either artist cannot be ignored. If you know how it’s going in the Chi right now, then you know this record  has a shot, at least in  the streets. [pagebreak]

Who is King Los you ask? Maybe you didn’t ask. So I will tell you as you peep this new sh*t called “Disappointed.” It features Diddy and Ludacris. The blogisphere has been excited about this young MC for sometime now.  Outside of late night mixshows, college underground radio and mixtapes, you probably won’t hear much of King Los’s “Disappointed” coming through your speaker but make no mistake this is must hear music. Until we read again.
