It’s about to be a Cole summer.

North Carolina rapper J. Cole drops another banger titled “Cole Summer.” It seemed to be “just one of those nights” last night for J.Cole, so he decided to release this introspective track about his rise to fame.

Sampling Lauryn Hill’s collaborative hit “Nothing Even Matters” featuring D’Angelo, J. Cole raps about his fears and his dreams.

The “Cole Summer” single artwork features his mother walking towards a Postal Service truck, which was her former job before her son’s success.

“I’m just a Born Sinner, the opposite of a winner. Cole Summer, I predict another winter,” raps Cole.

J. Cole’s “Power Trip” featuring Miguel has been steadily moving up the music charts.

J. Cole’s set to release his Truly Yours 2 EP tomorrow, and his long-awaited sophomore album Born Sinner is set to drop June 25.
