Instead, rocking a sophisticated emerald green Diane Von Furstenberg gown, Kate walked the carpet with Leslie Mann [who rocked J. Mendel] looking more like an Upper East Sider than an LES punk rock girl.
Although she missed the theme, Kate looked totally fab with her dress cinched at the waist, flattering her curves in every way possible.
