Now that Lil Wayne has been taught how to love, he’s still planning on releasing his love album.
It’s been a very long time since Lil Wayne first mentioned he wanted to release a love album titled Devol, but he hasn’t forgotten about it. Devol is actually “loved” spelled backwards.
During a recent interview with Sway, Lil Wayne stated:
“I do still plan on dropping that. I’m very excited about that album. I know ya’ll probably like, ‘I don’t want to hear no love songs according to [Wayne].’ But I’m talented. [Birdman] let me do whatever I want to do, so I’m putting that album out, ya dig.”
From surviving life threatening seizures to being dropped from his Mountain Dew endorsement, Lil Wayne has been through so much over the past few months.
So it’s no surprise that the “Bitches Love Me” rapper is focusing on spreading the love. As of now, Lil Wayne’s Devol album currently has no release date, and knowing Lil Wayne, the album probably won’t drop until 2014.
